The Workforce

As the UK's largest county, North Yorkshire currently has a population of around three quarters of a million people, with around 375,000 living and working in the County - a figure far exceeding the national average employment statistics.

The figures are very impressive. There are around 55,000 employed inBiocentre building exterior shot professional occupations, 56,000 managers and senior officials, 38,000 in manufacturing, 28,000 in sales and customer services, 50,000 skilled trades people and 49,000 employed in associate professional and technical occupations, to name but a few.

In terms of businesses, North Yorkshire is home to a wide range of different industries.
